News of the latest we "don't speak Welsh here" workplace controversy is sweeping my home village of Y Felinheli. We`await to see what evolves - but if true, and I have no reason to think it should not be, why do people do these stupid things ???
I understand your point but don't rush to that conclusion. I think the WLB should have a power to intervene and bring narrow minded employers to their senses. But I do accept the scope for ongoing debate and deliberation.

Because they can! There's no law to protect welsh speakers at work - we need one.

Maes-e seems to be exploring whether constructive dismissal can be pursued. I somehow feel membership of a union might assist test such matters.
