Caernarfon's Institute - heart of political battle

A CLP meeting in the famous Institute Buildings tonight, adorned with splendid paitings and the trappings of the famour Caernarfon Royal Town Council.

However tonight, as the Assembly battle hots up, both Labour and Plaid Cymru were in residence - on first and second floors. The building survived - and our campaigns go on.

It isn't the first time it's happened.

I know !- but I thought it provided an interesting tiny blog in the long running campaign for May 3rd.

At least no fighting broke out.....

No, but then again we were in different parts of the building & entered & left at different times.

Still, it isn't a wise place to have a fight in - damage to some of the stuff they've got up on the walls might have very unwelcome financial repercussions for both local parties; & the potential Caernarfon & Denbigh front page is too awful to even think about.

It could be worse - we might arrange a buffet ! (local joke for any overseas based readers)

Ah, perhaps not.
