Short and sweet

Constituency treasurer Arnold Bohana has a letter in the weekly paper, the Caernarfon and Denbigh Herald, that is short and sweet.

"At least after Martin Eaglestone's visit to the Plaid Cymru conference we know one big difference on May 3.

A Vote for Labour will keep out the Tories. A vote for Plaid Cymru could let in the Tories.

The people of Arfon have been warned".

I've gotten a bit lost on your site Martin, can you help me. A couple of days ago I'm sure I was reading a post on that poll which gave Rhoderz 47% recogniton (you know, the post where you claimed to have higher recignition across Wales than the leaders of the other parties).

I just can't seem to find it now, where's it gone?

It was probably around March 1st - before the HTV poll showing Plaid flatlining but high spending.

Perhaps that possible Tory coalition was not a good idea after all.

Martin are you seriously that desperate for material that you are posting letters from party members on you site? letters from normal people would be good....but then i guess your lack of support means that you can only find party members to write in?

Martin you speak about Plaid flatlining...the poll showed Plaid retaining the seats it has (which as a person that has been out canvassing i feel that wont be the case...we are clearly a party on the up.) It is going to be close howerver. the only thing that all political commentators, including the HTV Poll agree on is that labour are facing meltdown and will be lucky to come away with 25 seats. Your own constituency is looking very much like being returned positivly to Plaid.

At least Plaid could then celebrate their coalition with the Tories..... meanwhile I'll get on with gathering the votes in Arfon and see how many come out for May 3rd.

Don't you fell a bit stupid pedling the scaremongering about Tory-Plaid coalition when you know damn right that it's a tiny possibility?

You know (hopefully, or otherwise you really have no political brain)as we all do that it's impossible for Plaid to rule out a rainbow coalition. If they did so, all Labour would have to do after the election would be to announce that they're going to form a discredited, un-mandated minority government with your 22 seats. That would force the other parties to club together just so that Wales could have any sort of functioning overnment.

I've talked to countless Labour voters over the past two weeks who are just not going to turn out for the simple reason that they think your campaign (nationally) has been full of negativity, scare-mongering and lies without a shred of positivity and very little about what Labour is going to do for Wales. I never thought I'd see the day when political analysts seem to unanimously agree that Plaid are running a slick campaign (I truly NEVER thought I'd see that day!) and Labour are employing chimps for election strategists!
